Edition of 6

Seoul, 2026.08.

Two mirrored plates of bent anodized aluminum, bolted together through an acrylic bar with M8 set screws and cap nuts.

Sized for A5 books, and it will take a thick one. Each side is a single folded sheet of metal — the fold is the structure, so there is no frame.

assembly

The assembled book stand, seen in perspective
The assembled stand, with the bar bolted across the seam.
  1. The two plates mirror each other and meet along a seam.
  2. An acrylic bar spans that seam; an M8 set screw passes through both plates and the bar.
  3. Cap nuts go on the outside, and the screws are tightened to hold the pair as one piece.

For a thicker book, add more bars; each one makes more room.
